Bamboo as an ingredient in textiles contributes to increased resistance to wear and overall long-term durability.  The addition of bamboo in a weave gives it a higher breaking tenacity, better moisture-wicking properties, and better moisture absorption.

Bamboo fabrics will maintain their special qualities when washed in cold to warm water (up to 40 degrees Celsius) with a gentle detergent, free of bleach. You may want to use a gentle cycle for some finished garments and fabric types. If necessary, bamboo fabrics can be dried in a clothes dryer on the cool setting.

避免悬挂在尖锐物体上，竹纤维面料吸水性好，湿水后自重增加，且悬垂性极好，因此悬挂时避免悬挂尖锐物体，最好是类似杆、框等受力面积较大的物品。

忌用力拧干，竹纤维织物湿水后纤维弹性受到抑制，强度较弱，若用力拧干水份易造成断裂。而且竹纤维面料的水分很容易自然蒸发，所以不必用力拧干。
