Bangladesh has evolved into a global epicenter for textile production, leveraging its strategic location in Asia to dominate the export of home furnishings. The local industry is currently shifting from basic garment assembly to complex, value-added products like sheet pillowcase duvet cover sets, driven by an increase in automated weaving and sewing technology.
Due to the tropical and humid climate of Bangladesh, there is a significant local and export demand for breathable materials. This has led manufacturers to prioritize high-GSM fabrics for fabric curtain production that can withstand intense sunlight while maintaining thermal insulation for interior spaces.
Economically, the sector is moving toward "Green Manufacturing." The integration of effluent treatment plants (ETP) and LEED-certified factories is now a prerequisite for supplying premium baby bedding set crib collections to European and North American markets, emphasizing sustainability and ethical labor.
